Commander, Major Mike Kinsey, we would like to welcome
you to the Coweta County Sheriffs Office Uniformed
Patrol Division. The Coweta County Sheriffs Office
Patrol Division consists of 52 uniformed deputies.
There are four shifts consisting of one Watch Commander
(Lieutenant), one Sergeant, one Corporal and 10 Patrol
Deputies.
The Patrol Division works twelve hour rotating
shifts, changing every 56 days. Uniformed deputies
patrol and provide professional law enforcement services
for approximately 442 square miles of unincorporated
Coweta County. The Watch Commanders have the
responsibility to assign Personnel to one of six zones,
providing services consisting of crime prevention,
traffic control, maintaining order, investigating
crimes, apprehending offenders, responding to emergency
(E911) and non-emergency calls for service, and the
needs of the county citizens and business owners.
The Uniformed Patrol Division prides itself on
improving the security of persons, homes, businesses and
education each to protect themselves. Even with
the rapid growth of Coweta County, the Uniformed Patrol
Division still sets the standards for other agencies to
follow, and is second to none. The patrol Division

National Academy.
